Dr Richard Schweizer

Dr Richard Schweizer is a consumer-advocate and consumer-researcher from Sydney, he has worked at the NSW Mental Health Commission and One Door Mental Health in policy.

Richard has appeared in You Cant Ask That, Australian Story, All in the Mind and The Two of Us. Richard has degrees in Arts, Law, a Masters in Journalism and a PhD about the sociology of schizophrenia.

Richard was diagnosed with schizophrenia in summer of 2003 and takes medication regularly.
