Peter Haddad is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Barwon Health and an Affiliate Professor at Deakin University, Australia. He is Academic and Clinical Director of CHIME, a translational research partnership between Barwon Health and Deakin University. He has previously held clinical and academic positions in the UK and in Qatar. His clinical and research interests include the management of affective disorders and schizophrenia. He has authored over 170 peer reviewed publications and edited several textbooks including the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ ‘Seminars in Clinical Psychopharmacology’. He has contributed to clinical practice guidelines produced by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and the British Association for Psychopharmacology (BAP). He serves on the editorial board of several journals including the British Journal of Psychiatry. He has a major commitment to teaching and public engagement in mental health.
