Australian Psychosis Conference Bursary Application

With the generous support of the National Mental Health Commission and Stride, we offer support to assist people with lived experience (as a consumer or carer) to attend the Australian Psychosis Conference.

To ensure a fair and equal application process, bursary applicants are requested to apply following the eligibility criteria below:

1. Have a lived experience as a consumer and/or carer
2. Have financial constraints that prevent you attending the conference without a bursary
3. An Australian resident

Applications are open to any person with lived experience across Australia.  We also encourage applicants who can represent a range of specific population groups, from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islander, people from culturally diverse backgrounds, rural and remote, LGBTIQ, elderly and young people.

11 August 2023  Bursary applications close, 10 pm (your local time)

18 August 2023  Notification of application outcome

What does a bursary cover?

The bursary may cover the workshop, conference tickets as well as a contribution towards travel.  Travel will not exceed $300
Bursaries do not cover personal expenses such as costs photocopying, IT etc.
If you require special services to manage disability or accessibility, please advise us in your application.

What does the application involve?

The application includes questions to gain understanding as to why you want to attend the conference and why you are requesting support. Some questions are to assist us ensure the fair distribution of bursaries across different sectors and groups. However, it is important that you should only share information that you are comfortable sharing.
