Graduation: MSS Hon. In Social Psychology University of Helsinki and MA in Abnormal and Clinical Psychology University of Sydney.

In late 1990s Satu realised how bad the Biomedical model was. Whilst looking for alternatives she found Open Dialogue. She met Professor Seikkula in Finland, visited Keroputaa hospital and returned to Australia as an 100% OD advocate . Iin 2011 Satu’s daughter was the first in Australia to have OD adapted to her treatment
